




The parish of Sainte Marie Madeleine d'Aussac is known since the beginning of the 11th century. The presence of a site from the early Middle Ages, nearby, suggests an even older existence.
The church was rebuilt in the 15th century, after the long Franco-English conflict, as shown by the angel bearing the coat of arms of the kings of France. The plan adopted is very characteristic of the reconstructions of this period: single naves, side chapels...
