Everyone takes advantage of him. His mother abuses his time, his sister abuses his money, and his boss abuses his goodwill. He shares an office with Vanessa, a pretty young woman with whom he is madly in love. Unfortunately, she only sees him as a confidant to whom she shares her love stories.
One day when he's feeling particularly depressed, Patrick reads an ad promoting the merits of Assuérus Chêne, a renowned Personal Coach. Patrick summons his courage (and his checkbook) and decides to hire him. From that moment on, nothing goes right in Marmignon's life... and the real trouble begins!
