And indeed, Lina, a young and adventurous Portuguese singer, isn't afraid to introduce bluesy flourishes into her music that Ry Cooder wouldn't disown. While she remains faithful to classical codes, fervently interpreting the torments of the soul, it's only to better break away from them by incorporating new, more contemporary forms. To achieve this, she surrounds herself with artists from other worlds, including producer Justin Adams, known for his work with Led Zeppelin, Jah Wobble, and, more recently, Souad Massi.

She has chosen to dedicate her new album to Luís de Camões, considered the greatest Portuguese poet. With her deep yet ethereal voice, she makes her poems of love and adventure shine, capturing the emotions buried deep in our hearts.
