Louise donned her first suspenders at the age of six, happily embracing the early musical discoveries offered by her instrument: the accordion. While her training was classical, she quickly became immersed in world music (Argentina, Eastern Europe), explored local regional repertoire, and grew up surrounded by French-language song. Drawn to Marseille, where she pursued a second Master's degree in research on new European and Mediterranean artistic spaces, she joined the group Misère et Cordes. It was there that she experimented with original compositions and performed on stage. Her first original project emerged under the name No Man's Louise, combining musical compositions with a poetic work. After her first EP, "Les Enfants de la Plaine," and numerous concerts in Marseille, Provence, and later in Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, and elsewhere, Louise won the Gold Medal for Song in Saignelégier in April 2018. Following her selection for the Chanson de Parole competition as part of the Festiv'en Marche festival, the duo No Man's Louise evolved into her solo alter ego, Louise O'sman. Her first album, "Joyeuse Ville," was released in 2018 on the Belgian label Homerecords. This was followed by a long tour throughout France, a staged show that received praise and awards. In 2023, Louise O'sman signed a recording contract with the Neomme label for a new album, "L'Heure d'Été" (released in late March 2024).
