Concert - So British

The orchestra of the Cité d'Ingres, made up of the instrumentalist teachers of the CRD of Montauban, their great students as well as external speakers, is pleased to offer its loyal audience its great annual symphonic concert.
"So British", as the title humorously indicates, will evolve around English music from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century.
The program includes works by Malcolm Arnold, Eric Coates, Edward Elgar, Edward German, Ralph Vaughan Williams and William Walton.
Marcel Bourgeois, clarinet teacher at the CRD of Montauban, will conduct this beautiful and original project before taking a well-deserved retirement. He is one of the pioneers of the "Orchestre de la Cité d'Ingres" for which he has so often played and conducted many concerts. The OIC will pay him a great tribute on this occasion.
