Diplo Exhibition

Discover the “Diplo” exhibition from May 15 to 26, 2023 at the Pôle jeunesse de
Montauban.

Combining photos and paintings, this exhibition is produced by Maria Sardone, an Italian European volunteer, hosted under the European Solidarity Corps label obtained in 2021 by Grand Montauban.
After presenting his project to the ID’J jury (a system that allows young people aged 11 to 30 to carry out a personal project), the artist was able to obtain a grant to help him finance it. His exhibition was born from the desire to show the public subjects with a different eye. To express her art, she creates creations mixing painting and photography, creations that begin with photography and end with painting. This passage allows us to see the transformation of reality into imagination. Each person has their own view of things. A painting can look different for each look. This can promote exchange between the public and the artist, but also within the public itself whose imagination is stimulated.
