Sales had to be made, and advertising took care of that.
Firmin Bouisset, from Tarn-et-Garonne, father of Petit LU and Petite Menier, among others, and one of the most prominent poster artists of this era, quickly became the king of food and children's advertising, with posters for biscuits, chocolates, and toys. Among them, those for Poult and Magasins Réunis in Montauban.
The exhibition aims to trace the rise of these delicacies as a reflection of an era when everything was changing at breakneck speed; an era that laid the foundations for our own.
A truly wonderful revelation!
Organized in partnership with Espace Firmin Bouisset.
