Exposition - Sylvain Corentin

Sylvain Corentin, born in 1962 in Montpellier, is a visual artist associated with contemporary Outsider art. He constructs imaginary architectures inspired by huts, his solitary childhood in social housing, between an absent police officer father and an overprotective mother, and his difficult schooling confine him to imagined worlds sketched on sheets of paper. [...]"Sylvain Corentin is a poet in love with the complexities of sacred architectures. His white towers seem to encapsulate stories while at the same time being jazz improvisations. They can never be repeated. They reflect his creative movements open to the accidents of immediacy." (R.
