The competition is part of the Occitanie Fencing League calendar. For the M13 category, it is the 3rd regional tournament open to all of Occitanie, and the 4th for the Veterans.
During the weekend of February 7th and 8th, nearly 200 competitors are expected at the Jacques Chirac Sports Palace. This is the first official competition organized by the Montauban Fencing Club, founded in 2022, and also the first fencing competition to take place within the Sports Palace grounds.
