Fishing has a long tradition in Escatalens
La Sofio, the local association, has for many years brought together fishermen from the village and the surrounding area. Pike, carp, roach, trout, tench, barbel ... meet you in the canal , which has a stopover with picnic area and sanitary facilities, the Garonne , Lac du Maillol or even Lac St Julien whose pontoon is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
