This concert honors melodies of Italy of the late sixteenth century with excerpts from works by Riccardo Rognoni, Giovanni Bassano or Aurelio Virgiliano.
The recorder duo Stéphanie Cettolo and Jean-Marc Andrieu, accompanied on keyboard by Anne-Lise Labusquière, sheds light on this enigmatic title of L'art de la diminution. These complicit artists like to make unknown composers known and share this desire and pleasure of discovery.
