Pilot structure of the intercommunal network of public reading, the media library of Nègrepelisse, is a place of cultural animation flagship. It is equipped with exhibition, study and projection rooms.

After the extension of the library of Nègrepelisse, it is a media library which opened its doors on August 30, 2008. With a surface area of 626 m2, the media library includes several consultation areas on the first floor: press magazines, children's books... with a strong focus on multimedia (4 multimedia and free Internet consultation stations, 1 touch tablet, 1 reading machine) and a study room on the mezzanine.
Numerous facilities also make it a place for multi-disciplinary activities: an auditorium with about sixty seats (conferences, readings, stories...) and an exhibition room.
The media library welcomes all the school groups of the commune in order to carry out a mediation around the book and the reading.
