Mirabel, a charming village in Tarn-et-Garonne, invites you on a journey through time in the heart of Quercy Blanc.
Between remarkable religious heritage and bucolic landscapes, this haven of peace offers an authentic getaway rich in historical and natural discoveries. Discover Mirabel and its hillsides, landscapes with multiple orchards overflowing with various fruits.
The approximately forty farms in the town contribute to the visual pleasure of a resplendent countryside that is absolutely worth discovering!
The most likely theory is that Mirabel comes from two Occitan elements: mira which means "look" and bèl/bèu which means "[that which is] beautiful". Thus, Mirabel could be literally translated as “look at [what is] beautiful”. Numerous panoramas of the hillsides, orchards and lakes are visible on hikes and even from the road!
