1939, the first barracks of the Septfonds internment camp see the light of day. With the armistice conditions of June 1940 and the period of the Occupation and the Collaboration, the Spanish Republicans of the camp of Septfonds will have to leave to be replaced. Sabine's life changes when she discovers in the belongings of her grandfather, a printer in Lyon during the Second World War, a hundred personal papers of Mr. Léopold Morgenstern, an ex-Austrian refugee. On the cover of the file: To be returned to Mr Morgenstern in case of request. As for an investigation, the young woman decides to return the documents to the descendants of Léopold. She plunges into the absurdity of this appalling time and confronts the things left unsaid by her family. With an incisive and tender gaze, Sabine shares her experience of memory reconstruction.
