Partir en livre - Atelier gravure

To celebrate Partir en livre, we invite you to a creative activity to share with your family!
Discover intaglio printmaking using a simple and accessible technique that you can easily reproduce at home: tetrapack engraving.
Based on the book "Where Are You Hiding?" by Marine Giacomi (written by Raphaël Martin, La Martinière jeunesse, 2023), participants will imagine an animal that "isn't seen" or is difficult to spot, which they will engrave on a tetrapack sheet. Using a drypoint, they will create their design, which will then be inked and printed using a press.

Please wear clothing that will be easily soiled.
The workshop will be followed by a book signing session with Marine Giacomi and a snack.
