Place des Cornières

Place Cornières was once and still is, the place of community life in the house of Lauzerte par excellence markets, announces consular decisions, show place, the place of performance. Arcaded semicircular-handle baskets on three sides and houses ranging from the fifteenth century. In the eighteenth century, the place has a corner house which gives it the name of Angle. The church on the right corner of the Place des Angles Lauzerte, dates from the thirteenth century. It is notable for its altarpiece of the sixteenth century and baptismal. We also note the edge of the square sandstone pavers that fall on a corner, a surreal fantasy yet well in harmony with the whole.
