WRITING AS A SURVEYOR With Antoine Choplin.

Antoine Choplin is the author of several books published by La fosse aux ours, including Radeau (2003), La nuit tombe (2012), Quelques jours dans
la vie de Tomas Kusar (2017), and more recently, published by Buchet-Chastel, Partition italienne (2022) and La barque de Masao (2024). He has also published a short story, À contre-courant (Paulsen), which explores the links between walking and writing, and the friction between landscapes. After having long led the Scènes obliques association and the Surveyor Festival in Isère, Antoine Choplin devotes himself fully to writing. His books are pervaded by themes such as memory, landscapes, and the place of art in our lives. His writing, curious about enigmas, complexities and imaginations, seeks to capture what cannot be expressed and gives pride of place to silence.
