As a nod to his figure, Slim Paul bears his name in homage to the bluesmen of the 1930s. As a young man, American history and culture fascinated him, especially when it came from Africa. The Blues becomes like a religion and as a fervent practitioner, he learns stories, legends, anecdotes, quotes.
He is inspired by greats and illustrious unknowns and his guitar becomes his soulmate. Being perfectly aware that his life is very different from that of the pioneers of the blues, Slim Paul draws inspiration from his predecessors to tell his rages, his demons and those of his generation.
In 2017, after announcing his desire to stop Scarecrow, a blues hip hop group with which he performed more than 500 concerts, he left alone for New York, guitar under his arm, to settle down and take the time to discover the world. music of the big apple.
