Theater - From Night to Dawn

Following the success of the play "In the Heart of Ashes," based on the writings of Etty Hillesum, the L'Explique-Songe company returns with a new production set between night and dawn. Constructed like a serial drama whose stories fit together like Russian dolls, this play, where theater, song, and music become one, evokes the power of encounters, the unexpected, and the unpredictable.
Violette, Kenza, Mychkine, and Gabriel cross paths with Hasan, a singer and musician who fled Afghanistan, and their lives brighten as dawn follows night. The unexpected crosses the paths of these men and women, and bonds are formed between them, even though nothing destined them to meet. In the evening, at night, at dawn, their lives are plunged into the chiaroscuro of desire, survival instinct, and creative impulses.

THE AUTHOR'S WORD
The central theme of my play is contained in its title. The characters will shift from one state to another, from one reality to another. Their otherness will reveal what was dormant within them, waiting to be awakened. Among the meeting places, the music studio will be essential for them to express their deepest convictions.
