Unlike traditional wooden mills, the Moulin de Théoule, built between 1480 and 1520 by the Cistercian monks of Belleperche Abbey, is distinguished by its fortified construction in local brick.
Privately owned, the Moulin de Théoule nonetheless remains accessible to the admiration of walkers along departmental road 99, nicknamed “mill road”. This picturesque place, taken by painters and photographers, offers an idyllic setting to immortalize the beauty of the Tarn-et-Garonne countryside.
