In March 1930, great floods ravaged the south-west of France.
Montauban then began an urban renaissance comparable to post-war reconstructions. Architects from all over France come to help rebuild the lower districts of the city. The ruins are raised and Art Deco invites itself to Montauban. Public and private architectures are marked

Discover this multi-faceted district in the company of Sandrine Bastié, architect-advisor at the CAUE of Tarn-et-Garonne and a guide-lecturer from the CIAP. A visit with two voices and two perspectives on this emblematic district of the city.
