Viewpoint over the Arratz valley
The Arratz is a small tributary of the Garonne, which flows down from the Lannemezan plateau to create a valley rich in culture, colour and heritage.
- From the hilltop village of Marsac, you can see the 17th-century dovecote and the Lomagnols valleys before the Quercy hillsides appear in the distance.
- From Château de Gramont, or to be more precise from the garden and its terrace, the Arratz valley stretches out behind majestic Lebanese cedars. In the garden, a magnificent ‘Weeping Sophora’ in the shape of a mammoth and its shade invite you to take a break on the bench at its foot.
