Description
Exposition conçue par l’ONaCVG de Tarn-et-Garonne
Meet at the Perbosc space
On December 5, 1939, the Prefect of Tarn-et-Garonne requisitioned the house located at 18 Quai du Port in Moissac to accommodate the refugees arriving in the department. He entrusted its management to Shatta Simon and her husband Edouard, known as "Bouli," who quickly transformed it into a children's home.
Through a sensitive and engaging exhibition design, the exhibition invites you to discover their story and how
they organized the rescue of nearly 500 Jewish children from all over Europe, with the complicity of local authorities and the community.
