Description
No fewer than 30 squares, esplanades, plazas and other public spaces dot the city centre of Montauban
At the heart of community life, these places have constantly evolved for nearly 900 years, reflecting the needs and challenges of their time. Through a sensitive and immersive approach, the CIAP and artist Victoria Niki invite you to discover how the people of Montauban have inhabited these squares, how they created them, transformed them, embellished them, and transformed them once again. Bring your own memories to life and listen to those of others: it's quite possible that these squares inhabit us more than we inhabit them…
